Lenny Kravitz American singer songwriter started out as a child actor appearing in commercials, TV shows and plays. He started acting in films because Lee Daniels told him he should and offered him a part in Precious. When he was five when Duke Ellington showed him how to play the piano. As a child he sang for the Metropolitan Opera. To add to his string of talents he has photographed Grace Jones, Alicia Keys, and Beyonce.
