In a moment of madness, I decided to paint Battersea Power Station only using dots. Not fully grasping the enormity of my idea until I was far too deep in the rabbit hole, I had no choice but to finish what I started, after all I painted on top of my bed in those days. What I do know is after a couple of weeks of dot gaga I saw Elvis running around Battersea Park in his underwear and I rubbed shoulders with three penguins on a dance floor in a London nightclub.
Painted to order, I would be more than happy to go down that hole again, who knows what might come from that experience. Obviously don't wait up, it's going to take some weeks but it will be well worth it.
Fascinating to look at, ripples of raised paint, a plastic mad man's rendition of this epic building.
This London landmark was built in two halves firstly in 1930 and 1950. She delivering power to London until 1983 where the towers stood still for over 30 years before being given a new lease of life in 2014. I lived close by this beauty and was presented with incredible views through the changing seasons.
